PFO Presents a Double Bill

Once again, on Saturday, September 7, Sam Greco and the Princeton Friends of Opera Steering Committee are hosting a garden party.  Fresh figs and other delightful offerings are on the menu.  Soprano, Megan Pachecano, will perform in arias from both German and Italian opera.  Bob McMahan will entertain us on the accordion.  Festivities will begin at 4 p.m. Should inclement weather prevail, please check the website by noon for an update.  Our rain date is September 8.

For our October 5 event, Professor Wendy Heller will present a talk at Smith House on German opera.  Dr. Heller is always interesting.  We will begin at 11:30 a.m.  So plan to arrive around 11:15 a.m. Her presentation on contemporary performances of Baroque opera several years ago was engaging and insightful.  We are in for a treat for sure.  After the talk, we will all enjoy a light luncheon provided by the PFO Steering Committee.
