Princeton Friends of Opera is a nonprofit, philanthropic tax exempt organization, dedicated to serving the greater Princeton opera community. Over the past ten years, PFO has awarded grants to both arts organizations, and academic institutions. These grants have included support for opera companies, scholarships for aspiring opera singers in an academic setting, and music camp for young students.

Awards range from $200.00 to $2,500.00. Recent recipients have included the CoOPERAtive Program of Westminster College of the Arts of Rider University, The Princeton Festival (Now the summer program of The Princeton Symphony),  Boheme Opera New Jersey, Trenton Children's Chorus (Now affiliated with Capital Harmony Works), Grand Harmonie, the Princeton Opera Alliance, and Hub City Opera and Dance.

At this time, Princeton Friends of Opera is only able to offer grants to organizations serving the greater Princeton Community.  Applications will be considered on an individual basis.
