This presentation will focus on operetta in Vienna and then America from Viennese born composers. Composers selected include Lehar, Strauss, Herbert, Romberg, Friml, Gilbert and Sullivan and others. Operettas would include Merry Widow, Naughty Marietta, Die Fledermaus, Student Prince, The Mikado and more.
