Dr. Marshall Onofrio, Dean of the Westminster College of the Arts, joined Rider University as Associate Dean of Westminster Choir College in July 2006, and has served the University as founding Associate Dean of the College of the Arts and Interim Dean of the College. Immediately prior to coming to Rider, Onofrio served as Professor of Music and Chairman of the Department of Music at Marshall University from 1998-2006. Dr. Onofrio previously taught or served as an administrator at Plattsburgh State University of New York, The Ohio State University, Muskingum University and Midland University. Onofrio is Professor of Music Education at Westminster Choir College and teaches courses in theory and composition, jazz studies, and music education.
Directions to Smith House
Route 1 from the south:
Pass Harrison Street exit and Scudders Mill Road exit. Take the next off ramp at Forrestal Road. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp onto Sayre Drive and proceed under Route 1. Continue on Sayre Drive 0.4 miles. Smith House is the 4th road on the right. Parking is available around Smith House and side roads leading to the main road, but no parking in permitted on the main Sayre Drive road without a police permit!
Route 1 from the north:
Pass Forrestal Village on the right. Exit toward Forrestal Road 0.1 mile Slight right at Forrestal Road ~ 440 feet. Continue straight onto Sayre Drive and continue 0.4 miles. Smith House is the 4th road on the right and visible from Sayre Drive.
Parking is available around Smith House and side roads leading to the main road, but no parking in permitted on the main Sayre Drive road without a police permit!
