Grand Harmonie

In celebration of Grand Harmonie's upcoming production of Fidelio in Princeton, the ensemble is excited to announce a special preview performance and lecture for Princeton Friends of Opera members on January 17 at 3:00 pm at a lovely Princeton Home. This special event will feature demonstrations of period wind and brass instruments and a lecture by noted Beethoven scholar and Princeton musicologist Scott Burnham. Grand Harmonie's wind section will perform selections from a period arrangement of Fidelio for wind band by Wenzl Sedlak, featuring Patrick Cook (Florestan) and Ashley Curling (Leonore). PFO members attending this event will receive discounted tickets to the full production on January 23. Attendees are encouraged to mingle with Grand Harmonie musicians and singers - questions during the lecture and demonstrations are especially encouraged!

Invitations will be mailed to PFO members. This event is opened to members and guests.
